Ah! Jewellery is one of the Jewellery Quarter’s newest retail stores. After many years of planning, Ah! Jewellery was officially launched in October 2021. We invited the team to share their journey with us.
Ah! Jewellery’s journey
Ah! Jewellery’s journey to deliver affordable, yet truly great quality jewellery designs to the public, began with the 2001 online launch. That year we commenced the production of our jewellery designs in conjunction with jewellers. The first 4 years saw us gain trust and repeat custom of retailers, wholesalers, small boutique shops, and individual clients.
The year 2007 was another significant stepping stone for us, as that year – six years after the launch – we stepped up our aspiration to serve even more customers by reaching out to them in the high street – our growth was marked with a presence in 6 shopping centres in Europe.
2011 saw the sale of the shopping centre franchises, followed by, 2 years later in 2013, rebranding and re-birth as Ah! Jewellery.
2019 was another milestone in the company’s growth – that year we moved the main office from the outskirts to a central location in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, 2500 sq ft of sparkle!
Over the years there have been over 50 people working to achieve today’s Ah! look and shape, naturally some of the staff moved away or around, however they all played a valuable part, and we thank all who helped us to get where we are today: Those who did not want to support us in this journey – we did it anyway!
That’s the true spirit of who we are and what we want to deliver to our customers – the highest quality, the most fashionable trends, the best products, luxury packaging, the most valuable experience and this can only be achieved with the right people at the forefront of the company and behind the scenes!
Ah! Jewellery JQ has officially opened as of the 29th October 2021.

Ah! Jewellery offers unique pieces of jewellery in sterling silver, steel, gold filled, rose and gold vermeils & solid gold, a wide variety of styles and palette of colours to suit all our consumer needs. The shop is truly Ah! – beautiful, elegant and unlike any other in the Jewellery Quarter, we stand out with our range of products and our elegant, sophisticated store layout and colour scheme to provide you with the best shopping experience.
We have worked incredibly hard for this opening, endless hours, the inevitable things going wrong and having some major setbacks. Throughout all of this, the team at Ah! has kept their spirits high and amazing work ethic. This has been a long time coming and we are so excited to share our products with you in our first ever store! We are so proud of everyone that has contributed and made this opening possible, we couldn’t have done it without you, so a massive thank you from us and we hope to see you soon! Come and visit our store and we promise you won’t be disappointed, very far from it.
Ah! Jewellery’s plans for the future
We are always excited for the future and have millions of plans and never ending goals, we want to keep improving, but never lose the principle of serving the general public with affordable and really really amazing jewellery. We fully recognise diamonds and gold are not everyone’s everyday purchase, financial limitations should never be the reason why any women, or men!, cannot feel a million dollars though. Our pieces make you feel this way, while not having an impact on your pocket and we intend to ensure that never changes!
