As a continual educational registered yoga teacher (RYT500hr) with the Yoga Alliance, Lisa takes on the ‘modern’ approach of yoga by incorporating strength and flexibility drills that is suitable for all levels and ages. Balancing out her dynamic classes, Lisa specialises in being a Strala guide. Strala is a modern and unique style that uses the vocabularies of both yoga and tai chi, along with the movement and energy principles of tai chi, qi gong and traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine.
Lisa has gone through many bumps in the road in her own personal and teaching journey after a variety of injuries, wrist surgery and pregnancy. This has taught her how to be adaptable and knowing that whatever injury or frustrations that you may have, there is always a way to keep practising and move in a way that suits you.
Based in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, Lisa is involved in corporate yoga, and events but specialises in bespoke 1-2-1s as well as helping to improve athletic performance.
Lisa currently has 3 donation series available: ‘A series of happy hips’ ‘Ready, set, forearms’ & ‘a series of mini strala’. Please email if you’d like to donate to purchase a series.
