The funds will ensure that the Church’s Persian Community Support Worker can remain in post for a second year from May 2022. This will allow St Paul’s Church to better support their community of Iranian Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Birmingham.
For this to be possible, David needs to raise £8,000. Allchurches Trust have promised to donate £4,000, but for the Church to receive these funds they need to raise at least £2000 in the next four months.
David will therefore be participating in the London Ultra on Saturday 26th September and will be cycling 156 miles in one day to help raise funds. You can help David reach his target by sponsoring him for each mile cycled. Whether it’s 50p or £50, every penny will be greatly received.
