Five must visit coffee shops in the Jewellery Quarter.
When exploring everything the Jewellery Quarter has to offer, make sure you take a well deserved break at one of their many excellent coffee shops. I have detailed some of my favourites below!
Espresso Quarter
A recent addition to the Jewellery Quarter’s incredible collection of coffee shops is Espresso Quarter, who opened just prior to the 2020 lockdown. This is probably the toughest time to start a business – I’m sure we can all agree!
However, this beautiful coffee shop is thriving serving deliciously, foamy cappuccinos and tasty sandwiches. Their creamy hot chocolate is the perfect addition to these grey winter mornings and who can resist a sweet, chocolatey pastry!
Even during this difficult time, Espresso Quarter continue to provide amazing customer service through both takeaways and delivery. Why not enjoy a delicious breakfast in bed from the Espresso Quarter this lockdown?

Saint Kitchen
The delicious homemade food and artisan coffee available at Saint Kitchen make it a fantastic place to visit when exploring the Jewellery Quarter. Their bagels are bursting at the seams with incredible, fresh ingredients and the creaminess of their coffee is unrivalled.
Now you must, and I repeat must, visit the Saint Kitchen’s Instagram! The photos will have your stomach rumbling; freshly packed bagels and doughnuts that undoubtedly remind you to leave room for dessert.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on one of Saint Kitchen’s delicious treats, make sure to take advantage of their take-out and delivery service.

Urban
One of my first post lockdown adventures will be to Urban to try and tackle their full English bap. An incredible stacked breakfast, toppling precariously from within a bun. Washed down with a smooth Americano, what more can you ask for?
This isn’t the only temptation available Urban. Their bottomless brunch is definitely enticing, while their homemade treats and sourdough from Orientee Artisan Bakery are definitely calling my name.
This coffee spot is dog friendly, so make sure to pop in on your next dog walk and treat yourself to a latte for your efforts!

The Hive Café and Bakery
This incredible café brings you unmatched sourdough, homemade tarts, fresh croissants, doughnuts dripping with vanilla glaze and luxurious coffee.
Their rooftop garden grows ingredients that make it straight to the café tables, an unexpected luxury within a city center location.
Sharing recipes throughout lockdown, this treasured spot within the Jewellery Quarter has not only kept us busy throughout the long days but, kept our mouths watering at the possibilities of what our own kitchens can create.
